Observation and interacting:
This week was amazing, crazy, fun and sad because it was the first week of school. I got to interact with with everyone, administrators, teachers, parents, and the children. I helped them everyday for hours, they needed it and most importantly I enjoyed every minutes of it.
Some children have not been in school, some parents never left their children sights before:( and many were sad and confused. You would thought it was a funeral this week at the school. Parents and children were crying all over and every where. It was so sad and brought back memories because I've been there and done that with my two babies. I helped the parents by letting them know that there children are going to be fine and they can call as much as they like to check up on them. As for the children I held them, wipe their tears away:(, hugged and comfort them as much as I could and also let them know that mommy will be back for them before they know it.
By day three it was a little better. The parents stopped crying and felt comfortable. Some of the children stopped crying as well, not all. The children, teachers, parents and administrators continued getting to know each other such as names, ages, allergies, and other matters. I must say this week was a week of learning, observing and interacting with the staff, teachers, parents and the children.

Observation
Being an educator can be challenging and fun at the same time. Helping children grow, learn, and gain new skills can be very rewarding. Working at preschools can be physically and emotionally taxing as teachers constantly stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift to attend to each child's interests and problems. For example, the two teachers that are in the ladybugs classroom ( 1-2 years old) are constantly, doing something such as changing, feeding, hold, playing, singing, cleaning, sanitizing and many more none stop until they go on lunch breaks.
What I saw these ladies doing in a daily basis, parents out to be grateful to these teachers. The way they respond, care, love, and interact with the children that are in their care. I observed a few children crying when they get drop off in the morning how the teachers handle the situation to make it soothing for the children.
The administrators are supportive and help out the teachers the best way they can with talking with parents, scheduling conference, and doing what is best for the children development.
